Outstanding Quality Oct 23, 2009 The best quality pocket knife for the price. This one would be perfect if it had a corkscrew
The perfect tool Sep 16, 2009 Just what i wanted. It's not like the others pocket knife with a lot of stupid things, this one has just the ones that you are looking for.
The locking blade is the key Sep 16, 2009 This is my second favorite Swiss army knife design because the blade does not fold in on you when you use it in daily life! I like most of the tools as well, but they are more on the basic side. The saw is perfect for camping, for many uses where a knife won't do the job. And you also have all the other handy gadgets... I've had one of these for many years, and have used it on many occasions.
Remember to carry a sharpening tool with you as well as the blades need frequent re-sharpening to be in top shape during daily use.
I found a great solution to cleaning the lint/ food that gets lodged in the grooves of the handle. I simply throw it in one of those ultrasonic jewelry cleaners that you can get on amazon for [...] bucks and it keeps on shining like new! Overall worth way more than you pay for it!
Great knife - Too big Sep 08, 2009 I ignored the feedback from other purchasers that this knife was a little too big for daily use - that's my fault. The knife is excellent, however it is probably about 3/4 of an inch longer than my last one and it hangs a little too heavy in my pocket. If there were a version of this that was a little bit shorter but had the same functions (minus the saw - I don't need that), then the knife would be perfect for me.
great knife Aug 25, 2009 i really like this knife.it has a semiserrated blade with a liner lock (the liner lock is easier to use with the left hand). the only thing i don't like is that the blade edge is only ground on one side. so it will be harder to sharpen. after sharpening a few times it will loose it's serrations. if you want this knife and you don't need a saw you should get the Victorinox Swiss Army Adventurer . the adventurer is the same size and has a side lock and is cheaper . i have both and like the adventurer a little better because the side lock is easier for me to use plus its lighter and thinner because it doesn't have a saw.
